He's baaaaaack. Samuel "Preppy" Clearwater, if you went through the things he's been though you'd be half crazy too. Now his best friend is in jail and he is willing to do anything to help out his friend, including, "getting gay married." Through a series of happy circumstances, he finds the one girl who just might be able to help.
Andre “Dre” Capuelt may have a story as tragic as Juliet. She’s suffered plenty of loss very young and never quite recovered. This lead her to spending time with the wrong crowd, skipping school, trying drugs. One day she wakes up half strung out wondering if she should take her life. It could just be a coincidence, but the man who saves would also be willing to kill her.
Preppy is and has never been what i expect, but always what I always wanted. This story will run you through the entire gamut of emotions. There are sad parts, there are happy parts, there are parts that will make you laugh so hard you lose your place, and there are parts that will make you hold your breath until you can feel your heart beating out of your chest.
Preppy has been one of my favorite characters since we met during King. I’m so excited we get to spend more time with him. But, I have to admit I am a little worried. Preppy, book one ends with a cliffhanger, but I still had an overwhelming feeling of warmth. I don’t think this is something we should get to comfortable with from the Evil Ginger. She has a habit of tearing emotions right out of you. Regardless, I will read every word and count down the days to Preppy’s next book.
If you haven’t read the King series yet, stop reading this, and go read that.
