REVIEW: Outliers

The Outliers by TM Frazier

by TM Frazier

Sensual. Heartbreaking. Passionate. Overwhelming. Maddening.

That’s the love Finn and I share.

It's the kind you can never recover from.

The kind you never WANT to recover from.

That's why we'll do everything and anything to protect it.

When my past chases me all the way to Outskirts, we have to make a choice.

Let the lies destroy our chance at future together or...bury them deep in the swamp where they belong.

Got a shovel?

Sawyer Dixon was running from a life of oppression disguised as religion. She found the strength to leave after her mother passed away, and she no longer had a reason to stay. In her quest to escape she ran right into the arms of Finn Hollis. Finn wanted nothing more than to be left alone in the swamp to grieve his own loss. Now that they’ve found each other Sawyer and Finn and heal each other. But things are never as calm as they seem in the swamp and everyone has to beware of what’s just around the bend.

April’s Book Review:

One thing about Frazier’s writing is you can always expect surprises. This book is only 230 page. I figured I’d roll through this book in about three hours. Nope. You cannot believe how much happens in this 230 pages. Not only that, you won’t believe how much emotion is packed into these 230 pages.

It’s difficult to review this book without spoilers (I’d never want to ruin anyone’s Frazier experience). What I can tell you is that you will enjoy this duet even if you don’t like dark and twisty books. This story is quintessential Frazier. So if you read the book and you want to message me on Facebook to talk about it...halla at your girl.

Aracely’s Book Review:

This duet was nothing I expected a T.M. Frazier book to be, but she didn’t disappoint. This is the second book in the duet and the first one needs to be read first otherwise there will be major spoilers.

This duet felt like “tamer” of her usual writing yet with the same intensity with only a splash of her crazy. Outliers didn’t go the direction I thought but then again T.M. books never really go where I think they are heading. If you have been wanting to try out a T.M book this duet is a great start. It will ease you into her intensity and you will know that it only get more intense. Happy Reading!

Why did we choose this book:

April & Aracely met at LoveNVegas 2016. It was just before the first Preppy book was released. We were waiting in line to meet the evil ginger. We both love her writing and agreed that anything she writes will always be one-click priority for both of us. We bonded and instantly became book buddies. As soon as Aracely agreed to join the blog it was a no brainer that we would read the recently released Frazier.

Who should read this book:

If you are interested in stories that are a little gritty, dark and twisty, but aren’t sure, this is a great book to start with. It’s got just a touch of angst, and a douch of grime, but it’s so worth it.

About the Author:

T.M.Frazier is a USA TODAY bestselling author. She resides in sunny Southwest Florida with her husband and her young daughter.

When she’s not writing she loves talking to her readers, country music, reading and traveling. Her debut novel, The Dark Light of Day was published in September of 2013 and when she started writing it she intended for it to be a light beachy romance.

Well…it has a beach in it!

When Finn finds Sawyer camped out in his front yard he is none too happy. She’s encroaching on his land and his privacy. She’s too innocent and too vulnerable and, she needs to go before Finn is the one taking advantage of her.
