This is book 16 in the Brie’s Submission Series
A man in love is unstoppable.
Sir Thane Davis is a fighter and has survived countless tragedies.
Now he must deal head-on with Lilly to protect the woman he loves and the baby she carries. He is relentless, wanting to end this threat once and for all.
But unseen forces are at play which will challenge the Master. Will victory be his or will he lose everything he holds dear?
Thane Davis, husband, Dom and unstoppable comrade. He’s a family man and nothing threatens the safety of his beloved wife and soon to arrive child.
Brie is now almost full term, due with Sir's babe in a few short weeks. Soft but determined, Brie let's nothing stand in her way to care for her men, come hell or crank Russian. This loving sub is just what the Dr orders.
Sir Davis is healing from his wounds after the plane crash and is determined more than ever to eliminate the threat to Brie and their daughter. But when Brie doesn't let him, or his team, take life into their own hands, they must get creative. Thankfully Rytsar is always close by, finding a temporary solution, we wait to see what becomes of this evil.
This book was great, Thane is healing more and more and is able to indulge in Brie (with help of Rytsar.. *dry humps*) and taking back that control is just soul melting.
You can clearly see this story isn't over, and while she does clear up and put away a few events from previous books, it's clear we are still headed for action, angst and drama.
Can't wait for book 17!!
My only negative thought, so so so bummed the story began with many parts of book 14, "Her Russian Returns". The content was attention grabbing in that book. I had to reread it, because I kept getting excited and skipping ahead. I was already emotional for that, I had already read it. I didn't need a recapture of it.
Who should read it:
Anyone who has completed the first 14 books of this series and who is eager to read about BDSM and action.
Why we chose it:
Red Phoenix is AWESOME for the genre. I was very excited to read this book through Thane's POV.
